Job Description
Our client located in Northwest Houston is hiring within their Global Department an Office Assistant Manager/Sales Assistant person.  This is a Direct Hire with an annual salary range of $38,000 to $43,000 depending on your experience. Benefits are offered after 60 days of employment.  Monday-Friday and an immediate start.

Candidate must be able to:
  • Maintain schedules in a confidential manner
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and supporting documentation
  • Prepare monthly reports for executive(s)
  • Processed confidential personnel paperwork
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements (off-site and in office), often including catering
  • Maintain corporate files to include board minutes and other required files
  • Ensure customer service standards were maintained in any dealings with both internal and external customers
  • Ensured proper telephone coverage and etiquette
  • Professional back-up to other team members
  • Partnered with other co-workers when required. Strong team coordination at all times.
  • Support Sales Team with various administrative tasks.
  • Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, time management, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving and, as needed, adjusting plans.
The skills required are:
  • Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting a busy executive.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with staff in a fast paced environment remaining flexible, proactive and resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and detail oriented.
  • Strong ability to multitask and work at a very rapid pace, while juggling multiple, competing priorities.
  • Computer skills and highly proficient in MS software.
  • Ability to operate phone, fax, copier machine, scanner, calculator and other office related tools.
  • Ability to use own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a supervisor.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
